Firmware Backup
1. Run PC3000 PCI program.
2. Choose the hdd's model, click OK to continue.
3. The program shows the hdd's model and other information,
start to backup the firmware.
4. Choose "Reading SA Surface" shown below, then choose the
modules to backup. We backup "ATA overlay" as an example, choose
"ATA overlay", then click the triangular symbol behind "Number
of sectors", choose a location to save the file, at last click
OK to start backup.
Firmware upload
The first three steps are the same as backup. Choose "Writing SA
Surface", then choose the modules to upload. We also upload "ATA
overlay" as an example, choose the "ATA overlay" file of the
hdd, then choose "ATA overlay",
next click the triangular symbol behind "Number
of sectors",
click OK to start upload.
Note:
Must operate in accordance with this method, otherwise it would
fail to upload. Pls read it carefully, for backup and upload, it
is ok to choose the fastest speed like shown below.
